About the Provider:
I was born in Villarica Chile but made my home in Hattiesburg, Mississippi at the young age of 5. I have since moved to several locations but ultimately found MS calling me back home. My husband Adrian and I have been married for over 20 years and have 2 precious children, Jaslyn and Adrian. We currently live in the community of Columbia, MS. I studied Nursing In Wyoming, completed my bachelors through University of South Alabama and finished my MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner through Maryville University in St.Louis. I have over 15 years in the field of nursing and have loved every minute of it. I learned of the Direct Primary Care model while in my masters program and with hopes of making this dream a reality in time. The first component of the model that really got my attention was the time I would have with my patients. This is rare in the traditional clinic due to insurances and other governmental payers being involved. TruCare allows for extended visits and a personalized relationship with patients so that we can get down to the bottom of health issues and not just using medications as a band-aid. By having the time to educate on all topics of health and wellness, patients are able to make better decisions regarding their overall health. This model encompasses true care for patients the way it should be-full of genuine compassion.
